A standard SMS message supports up to 160 characters using GSM-7 encoding (standard Latin characters). Messages using Unicode characters (accented letters, Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese, emoji) are limited to 70 characters per segment. Longer messages are automatically split into multiple segments and reassembled on the recipient's device — up to 10 segments (1,600 GSM characters or 700 Unicode characters) per message.

Smart routing is our automated system that selects the optimal delivery path for each message in real time. It considers factors like destination country, carrier network, current route performance, delivery speed, and cost. If a primary route experiences issues, the system automatically fails over to backup routes. This ensures the highest possible delivery rate and fastest delivery times.
